Privacy Policy
Our commitment to your privacy. Zero camera recording, zero personal tracking, and local-only processing in your browser.

1. Overview
VirtualRingLight.com ("we", "us", "our") values individual privacy. We operate on a strict principle of data minimization. The web tools provided on this domain execute entirely within the visitor's local web browser environment.
2. Camera Stream and Video Data
When you click "Preview Lighting" or "Enable Camera", the tool requests permission to access your local camera feed using the standard W3C navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia() API.
We never record, capture, process, store, or transmit your video stream. The video data is piped directly into a local HTML5 <video> element residing in your device's memory. It never leaves your hardware and ceases immediately when you click "Stop Camera" or close the browser tab.
3. LocalStorage and State Persistence
We use your browser's standard localStorage API solely to remember your chosen lighting parameters (brightness level, color temperature, ring thickness, and custom presets) across visits. This data remains on your physical device and is never synchronized to external cloud databases.
4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
To maintain this free service, standard non-intrusive advertising containers may be served. These partners may use cookies or browser signals to measure ad performance. You can manage or disable cookie preferences directly in your browser privacy settings at any time.
5. Contact Information
If you have questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please email our privacy team at [email protected] or visit our Contact page.
